The old building was reastaured by well known fashion and lifestyle designer Luisa Beccaria and her aristocrat Sicilian husband Lucio Bonaccorsi as beach extension of their enchanting Feudo del Castelluccio, it is now part of the owners family lifestyle.

The entire property is surrounded by olive, lemon and orange groves. The villa has a fantastic garden with pergolas and a pool an enchanting terrace with incredible sea views on the whole bay and the tuna factory old ruin.

ABOUT THE AEREA

The Vendicari oasis is various and vast, offers incredible walks through its salt flats and luscious Mediterranean plants. Abundant of pink fennels and incredible birds. The different beaches in the oasis are Sauvage and fascinating. The sea is transparent and torques due to the sandy seabed.

The main Vendicari sandy bay is walking distance through amazing landscape and unspoiled nature; also nearby are the beaches of Calamosche, Eloro and San Lorenzo. In San Lorenzo, there are some furnished lido beaches with restaurants.

In 1693 an enormous earthquake ripped through south Sicily reaching Noto, Ragusa, Modica and Caltagirone. The building projects were so inspired that the towns are now UNESCO Heritage sites.

About Vendicari Natural Reserve

Vendicari Nature Reserve is very wide (1500 hectares of unspoiled and protected land) and extended for 10 kilometres.

It’s sandy beaches, and transparent waters are a walk away from Vendicari beach house whose sublime seafront habitat comprises salt lakes, an incredible and wide variety of coastal flora together with an internationally tinted range of fauna. Pink flamingos stop here for months to rest and feed during their migration to Africa, turtles come ashore to lay their eggs on the sunny sands.

The proximity to historical southeastern Sicily places like Noto. Marzamemi,Ortigia ,Ragusa. Scicli and Modica make a stay here even more spectacular for sea lovers enthusiastic also about culture.

OUTSIDE

Vendicari beach house is located inside a private agricultural property by the sea, is one of the very few original buildings inside the natural reserve of Vendicari. The large garden blends into lemon groves and olive grow with marvellous sea views. There are two large pergolas and a long and narrow swimming pool with sunbath beds. There is also a beautiful terrace on the second floor ideal for the sunset and relax.

INSIDE

The villa has two floors. On the ground level, there is a large living room with Turkish beds and fireplace, a luminous kitchen, two double bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room another with en-suite bathroom) and another twin beds bedroom with its en-suite bathroom. On the second floor, there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and an amazing roof terrace where you can admire the wonderful Vendicari oasis life and get happy hours drinks.
