Luisa Beccaria chose Casa Cipriani—a chic hotel and members-only restaurant set in a historic palazzo overlooking a park—for her fall show. Models wove around set tables, where guests enjoyed a breakfast of fresh croissants and cappuccinos—not a bad way to kick off the third day of a bustling Fashion Week.
Luisa and Lucilla Beccaria create with women in mind. Their vision of femininity is romantic, infused with a sense of quiet elegance—a sotto voce approach that is still compelling. For fall, they riffed on their best-ofs: breezy dresses in printed chiffon with plissé skirts, cocktail numbers in wool lace or organza, and flowing shirtdresses with ruched details.
A modern edge came through structured peacoats, cabans, and redingotes in corduroy and herringbone tweed, lending the collection a stronger daytime appeal. Richer, darker hues added depth and variety to the Beccarias’ tried-and-tested formula.
