Three days a year London marks the time of Italian style

Luisa Beccaria brings at the exclusive 5 Hertford Street Club, and at its nightclub Loulou's, the charm of made in Italy, with fashion and lifestyle inspirations On March 14th, 15th and 16th, London tastes the true Italian magic, style and elegance: Luisa Beccaria, with its host Robin Birley, brings Sicilian flavours and mood in London most exclusive private club, to show her last two collections, “The woods charmer” (FW 2017-2018) and “The nymph affair” (SS 2017). 5 Hertford Street Club hosts a bespoke event which mixes quality and creativity in a peculiar blend of high-end fabrics and shapes with hints of Sicilian culture. The last two collections of the Italian designer, and of her daughter and co-designer Lucilla Bonaccorsi, are shown in a unique setting, made of a twist of flowers, leaves and lights. For the incoming Spring, we will see light dresses with transparencies and precious embroideries, flared sleeves and the thousand shades of water. For the next Fall-Winter, shapes and colours come out from an enchanted wood to dress up a hyper-feminine and nowadays woman: embroidered full skirts are paired with mohair sweatshirts, pantsuits become iridescent and dresses are impalpable. Three days, two exceptional lunches and dinners, also with the true Sicilian inspiration from Castelluccio, the family castle in the wonderful Noto countryside, with the island recipes, made into special dishes by the club's upstairs mediterranean restaurant, and a traditional music orchestra. Then the parties, amid fashion, lifestyle and food feelings, will close on the glamourous dance floor of Loulou's. Dreamy nights, actually, able to translate Visconti's imagery from “The Leopard” using storytelling and quality of genuine made in Italy.
